Weather has turned for good biking
Last Friday and again today, I have biked to work. No fog, ice, snow, or freezing rain! It is a great time to bike! Sounds like this is more of a weather report than a bicycling post, but when a cyclist has good weather they feel renewed in the cycling spirit. The sky this morning is clear and the sun came up as I was leaving Lancaster.
Friday was overcast but very warm! For the first time this year, I wore only two layers on my chest, a jersey and a Thermal Shell (both from Momentum). My arms were a little cool, but not bad! I also wore my old gloves. They are thin with holes in the first couple fingers. The “winter” glove I bought this year are warm on a sub-zero day, but too warm when the temps get into the teens and twenties.
The ride home was warm! My feet were sweaty in my booties, and when I would climb a hill my sunglasses would fog up.
Today I rode without the booties and again with only two layers (jersey and thermal shell) on my chest. Still have the tights on though!
