Biking to Work Year Round

Biking to work has brought many benefits to my life. This site attempts to look at the reasons to bike to work, both personal and societal, and the practical aspects of biking to work. The posts are a discussion on real-life experience of biking to work throughout the year, the gear that helps make that possible and the benefits, and liabilities of biking to work.

My initial idea was to bike to work for a year starting January 1st, 2010.  That idea fell by the wayside due to sickness and poor weather conditions. However, that lead to more reasonable and realistic definition of the concept of biking to work and the discussions we can have within the site. The site should not be a political statement, but an exploration of the facets of bicycling to work for those who for any reason decide to use their bikes to get around. I hope you will enjoy the content herein.
